I'm closing this journal for some while.

Please, don't panic, everything is fine with me. Just, my RL is pushing me in another direction, away from fandom. So there I have no time for writing or commenting.

Therefore I will not make it to the inofficial deadline of bigbangblackout, which I'm really sorry about. Still, since I didn't manage to write anything until now, it doesn't make any sence for me to push myself farther.

My dear f-list,

it's so far again, this year. The carnival is over and the ash wednesday stood in the sign for hangover, meetings of Germany's political parties and for the begining of the lent. Myself, I grew liking those six weeks during which I have stepped down from fandom and thus made room for other things, needing my attention: my Weight Watchers program, my taxes, my little garden, nordic walking and such.

I'm not religious, I swear. My entire family is atheistic, the times I visited a mass (as a guest) could be counted on the fingers of my single hand and my opinions about God and the bible are rather... unique. :) Still, the lent feels special for me. It's time I feel more intense than the rest of the year. More peaceful, more joyous. I'm not giving up something to excersise disciplin and strong will. I'm doing leaving for the sake of returning and the enjoyment, greater than before.

The last year 2007 was a hard year for me. There were some painful yet important lessons I learnt, there were some losses I had to cut and some (at least for me) huge decisions, I didn't regrett making. On the other side it was also the year of Sectus, of meeting you all. It was the year in which the HP series came to the end. It was also the year of a story which is the proof for me that - if needed - I'm capable writing 25 000 words in six weeks. This, I'm especially proud of.

All in all, I feel I grew up a bit and became wiser a little more. :) At least, I hope I did.

I have been waiting with this post until today for I wanted also say a temporary goodby in the lupin_snape chat room. Hanging out there became my ferquent program on the Saturday evening or Sunday morning. This beloved activity of mine I'm going to give up as well.

All in all, have fun, write more stories, play nice with Snape and be good to Sirius. You know he starts to be difficult when having not enough sex or when someone forgets to buy him his favourite dog treats.:)
